What’s Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy means using hypnosis as a therapeutic tool.

Hypnosis itself is no more than a way to focus your attention.

And what’s Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)?

Described by the British Medical Journal as the “gold-standard psychotherapy”, I use CBT as a way to help you manage your existing problems. Changing the way you think and behave.

Quite simply, I believe that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are linked. And working together we can turn negative thoughts and feelings into positive ones using hypnotherapy.

CBT deals with your current problems. The here and now. Not focusing on your past. And I look for practical ways to improve your state of mind on a daily basis.

What I will ask of you is to be prepared to carry out what I suggest to you between our sessions. Why? Because CBT is hands on. It needs your commitment to change.
